Below are the steps to apply for WhatsApp Green Tick:

Step 1 : You must have an active Twerlo Connect Account. 
Step 2 : Once your account has been approved, you can reach out to your account manager to apply for Green Tick.

Twerlo will apply for the Green Tick after the above mentioned criteria is met. Based on the reputation of your brand you may or may not receive the 'Green Tick'. 


Kindly note : The rights to approve your Green Tick remain with WhatsApp and Twerlo does not have any role to play in that.



Can I still use WhatsApp APIs without Green Tick?

Yes. Not having a Green Tick on your account does not limit you from using WhatsApp Business APIs. You can continue to use WhatsApp Business APIs without a Green Tick. You will have access to all WhatsApp API features.

What is the eligibility criteria to get a Green Badge? ✅

  • You must be using WhatsApp API Approved Business Account.
  • Facebook Business Manager should be verified by Facebook.
  • Must be a business (Individuals are not allowed as of now).
  • It is recommended that you 
  • Recommended you are in Tier 2 or above messaging level*.
  • Must be a notable and reputed brand.

Green Tick application decision normally takes about a week. In rare cases it may be delayed.

What is the cost of applying for WhatsApp Green Tick Verification?

Twerlo does not charge any fee to its customers for WhatsApp Green Tick Application.

Which are the businesses that are not eligible for WhatsApp Green Tick Verification?
